Now here's a touchy subject - and rightly so. In my opinon, racism is the domain of the small-minded,
insincere, insecure men who, strangely enough, I believe are the exact men Freud was thinking about when he first came up
with the concept of penis-envy. You see, men who must punish and berate others for the mere color of their skin or even for
private practices that in no way effect the punisher, I think, must have some major problem with themselves. (Perhaps it's
just me, but I equate men and insecurity with some sexual dysfunction or inadequacy. I find it the most justifiable problem
with most men.)
The logic behind racism and bigotry runs right past me without even stopping to talk. (Granted, most
logic does this to me, however there are precious few things I expect will be justified in my head.) I will admit that from
the dawn of time when the bigger, stronger, hairy-er Neanderthal smacked his cavemate for even thinking of drawing that stick-figure
buffalo better than he had, people have lifted themselves up at the expense of others. But I've been led to believe that we
are now more civilized and advance than the Neanderthals, yet this problem still exists - we're still smacking our cavemates
for being able to do something better than we do, or being different from us. Indeed, we do this to the point that it makes
daily headlines and constant conversation topics worldwide. When I must write about this, I consider abandoning the human
race.
In this time of exchanging information and global community, the concept of the superiority of one
person over another just because the inferior one chooses to live a certain way, or because the genetic roll of the dice has
made the one different from another is absolutely ludicrous - bordering on moronically sociopathically insanity!
People!
Really!
